Diamond LakeThe Hale (PDF), Page (PDF), and Diamond Lake (PDF) neighborhoods work together on a variety of initiatives, the biggest of which is their joint neighborhood group – Hale, Page, Diamond Lake Community Association and Rabbithood, their local business association. Diamond Lake's neighborhood boundaries are Diamond Lake Road and 55th Street on the north, Highway 77 and Cedar Avenue on the east, Highway 62 on the south, and 35W and 2nd Avenue on the west.
Hale Community School and Our Lady of Peace Catholic School serve these neighborhoods as do the Grand Rounds Scenic Byway, Pearl Park, and Todd Park. The area is known for its Bronze Rabbit Sculpture. Like all neighborhoods in Minneapolis, Hale (PDF), Page (PDF), and Diamond Lake (PDF) have developed individual neighborhood policing plans to identify areas of improvement, set goals, and build upon its strengths. |
