Impact of CPED’s Work on the Economy in 2009

The City of Minneapolis has fared better than most areas of the country during the recession. We’ve been cited by Forbes and others as being in position to emerge from the recession quicker than most cities. The City, through its policies and programs, played an important role in helping residents obtain work and in attracting and retaining jobs through our business support tool box . See a snapshot of the impact of some of these efforts in 2009.
