Implementation Task Force
The final report and recommendations were presented to the Minneapolis City Council in June 2009. City Council members unanimously passed a resolution (link to resolution) officially supporting local foods and establishing a Task Force to guide the implementation of key recommendations. This 16-member Task Force, consisting of representatives from City departments, City Council, and community and organizational partners, will meet regularly over the next 2 years.

The Task Force is staffed by the Department of Health & Family Support (Kristen Klingler) with support from Council Member Cam Gordon’s Office (Robin Garwood).
