Requests are taken year-around. Absentee ballots are available 30 days prior to each election.

Federal Voting Assistance Program

• Active-duty uniformed service members and their families
• US citizens living abroad permanently or temporarily
• Please allow sufficient time for ballot delivery and return based on your location

*This application need not be on an official or standard form. It is accepted if it contains the following information:

• Name and home address
• Date of birth (optional but helpful)
• Address to which you wish ballot(s) sent
• Reason for the request – see list above
• Date of application, and
• Your signature

Please allow at least seven days to complete this process.
