Note on Full Time Job Equivalents: The federal government defines jobs by a mathematical formula resulting in "FTE " or "full-time job equivalents " accounted for on an annual basis. Therefore, a summer youth job, for example, may appear as ".25 FTE, " while that youth would have been employed full-time for the summer.
